English literature history, pt2

I've sent a bunch (5) of book extracts to your SP09 conference on FC. Your tasks are:

1. Read and understand the texts. Use a dictionary if necessary.

2. Pick one of the texts where you find out more about the author and the book itself. The question that you must try to answer is 'Why is this book considered a classic?' As before, take notes and SAVE them.
